The log burning stove has been amazing - adding to the cozy feel of the cottage. The local area is incredible - we would recommend a walk along Holkham Beach - and some time running through the pine trees! Some great food at the Chequers - a lovely loval. “Second visit to Rose Cottage and we’ve had a lovely week. We had very enjoyable evening walks around the village footpaths - we spotted several owls, dear and on one occasion 18 hares! We can recommend to Art Cafe at Glandford for lunch or cofffee & cake. The Wildflower Caf in the same area was interesting especialy for the plants and walk around the estate. The toddlers loved Wells Beach and the little train into town & the seal boat trip was also fun. Chequers Pub in the village was super kid friendly & lovely “pub grub” food. Binham Abbey & the park in Binham also proved enjoyable (ruins are great for hide & seek!). Your cottage was a great base, comfortable & the stair gate made it nice & safe. I also can’t believe the carved mouse on the side of the main bed hasn’t had a mention before! The toddlers were amazed by it! Also wanted to mention how clean the cottage was - which was great.
